Erik P. Lindemann

Erik was trained as a trader and obtained a master (Diplom Volkswirt)
in international economy from University Hamburg. He holds a Certificate in International Accounting (CINA).
Shortly after his training in 1988 he was appointed an executive director of the company where he was trained
(Wholesale in raw materials, chemicals, dyes). In 1991 he spun out this
business into his own company and subsequently sold the company in 1996 to a competitor.
Erik then joined Metall-Chemie group where he started as finance manager, then was head of controlling from 1996-1998.
From 1998-2000 he was responsible for a range of tasks within the group such as
interim management, turn arounds, restructurings and was in addition head of the M&A team. In 1999 he
was appointed member of the executive team at Metall-Chemie Holding.
In 2000 Erik joined BioAgency as head of finance. In this capacity Erik oversaw the venture
capital business of BioAgency in early phase companies. In 2002 he was appointed CFO and managing director and was
instrumental in the strategy shift to investing in distressed assets in life sciences.
Erik is non executive or executive director of a number of life science companies.
